Senior .NET Developer

Location: Remote
Contract Type: Permanent
Position Type: Full Time
Expiry Date: 06/03/2026 10:00

Build and Evolve a Business-Critical Azure Platform

We’re looking for a Senior .NET Developer with strong Azure experience to help evolve and extend our core bespoke CRM platform.

We’ve acquired a commercial CRM product and are customising, integrating and enhancing it within our Azure ecosystem. This role is focused on hands-on development, architectural improvement, cloud integration and long-term platform scalability.

This is not a configuration-only CRM role — you’ll be working directly in C#, ASP.NET Core MVC and Azure services to design, extend and improve a production-grade system used across the business.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Designing and building features using .NET 8+ / ASP.NET Core MVC
  • Extending and refactoring a commercial CRM codebase
  • Designing Azure-native integrations and services
  • Building and maintaining REST APIs and backend services
  • Improving architecture, performance and maintainability
  • Contributing to design decisions around service boundaries and integration patterns
  • Championing clean code, testing and CI/CD best practices
  • Mentoring developers and participating in technical reviews

You’ll balance new feature delivery with thoughtful architectural evolution in a business-critical environment.

Our Azure-Focused Stack

  • Azure App Services
  • Azure Functions
  • Azure SQL & SQL Server
  • Azure Cosmos DB
  • Azure Storage & Messaging
  • Azure DevOps (CI/CD pipelines)
  • .NET 8 / ASP.NET Core MVC
  • C#

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong commercial experience building production .NET applications
  • Deep understanding of Azure cloud services and cloud-native design
  • Experience designing scalable, secure backend systems
  • Strong C# and ASP.NET Core MVC expertise
  • Experience working with APIs, integrations and distributed systems
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD, DevOps and automated testing

Desirable:

  • Experience working on CRM or enterprise internal platforms
  • Experience modernising or improving existing codebases
  • Mentoring or technical leadership experience

We’re particularly interested in pragmatic senior engineers who enjoy improving real-world systems and raising engineering standards.
